I like how Peach goes la-la-la-la-la and skips before pulling out a golf club and beating the hell out of her opponents in Smash Bros. She deserves to be S-tier.

Forgot to post this here. It's Peach!

I achieved the look by scanning a traditional, uncolored doodle, which preserved the lines and allowed me to color digitally.

Mario and Luigi love each other as is, but they do have one thing they wish was different about the other: being able to handle a spider in the house.

As it stands, Luigi and Mario both get the heebie-jeebies from spiders, so neither of the brothers are getting closer to the spider, let alone willingly touching it. They can't do the throw objects at it strategy either, because they both don't really want to kill it. So then they have to rely on a method where they open the front door and use a broom to reach out toward the spider and slowly lead it out.

Of course, this is dependent on the spider not running at them; if it does, it's every plumber for himself.

The only saving grace they have is if Luigi happens to have a vacuum on hand to blow the spider away or if Peach arrives, wondering just what is making the brothers so late to the tennis match, only to find them both on top of the kitchen bar staring down at a tiny arachnid. (Thankfully she's used to putting spiders outside since Daisy is also not a fan of them.)

A few miscellaneous Super Mario headcanons except there's a focus on Prof. Kolorado for some reason (some angst in point 4):

1) Peach and Daisy met as young kids while Daisy's Dads and Toadsworth discussed political stuff. It was kind of a "friends at first sight" sort of deal.

2) Pom Pom and Boom Boom are siblings, or at least have a sibling-like relationship.

3) Professor Kolorado and Professor Toad attended the same college (University of Goom?) and received at least some teaching under Professor Frankly. Professor Toad eventually transferred to a different college, though, and began to focus his studies on the Ancient Ones.

3a) They have a bit of a friendly rivalry because of this. You can bet your coins that Professor Toad got Captain T. Ode to come with him to Koopa Village just to be like "Look who I found! :)" to Kolorado.

3b) Kolorado, in response, was just like, "You got yourself a boyfriend?"

4) At the end of TTYD, (Paper?) Mario goes to Koopa Village and delivers the note of Kolorado's dead father that he found in Hooktail's Castle to Kolorado. It's not a very happy moment.

4a) It does give Kolorado a bit of a wake up call with regards to his exploration trips without telling his wife of his whereabouts. What if he were to game-over somewhere and his wife were left to wonder about whether he was still alive somewhere? He couldn't do that to her.

4b) So Kolorado's agreed to spend more time at home and to tell his wife when he's off on an adventure.

Y'know, as Daisy will eventually fully reign over Sarasaland (she's mentioned a father, so he'd be king), she's probably more politically relevant than Peach. Daisy's royalty for an entire empire while Peach is only royalty for a single kingdom.

So it'd be important as some political higher-up to establish at least some sort of acquaintanceship with Daisy and her father, but less so with Peach.

Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros. standing in between two masses of swirling branches with peaches growing on them. She is wearing an intricate, regal dress colored pink and white with yellow accents, has yellow-blonde hair, and a golden crown. Her eyes are closed, and she is smiling peacefully with her fingers interlocked in front of her. There are pink banners with gold trim hanging on either side of her.

Super Mario Mother's Day related headcanons (death mention in first bullet)

1) The closest Peach had to a mother figure was Toadsworth's mum, Grandma (that is, the Toad in SMRPG). Unfortunately, she passed sometime after the events of SMRPG. Now Peach and Toadsworth take the holiday to bake what were her favorite treats to remember her by.

2) Daisy doesn't celebrate Mother's Day on account of having two dads. She just celebrates Father's Day.

3) Rosalina's old kingdom didn't have such a day. When she decided not to leave the Mushroom Planet and live beside it instead, she eventually learned of the holiday's existence. She now takes the time to read the storybook she wrote and sadly reflects for the rest of the day with the Lumas.

4) Mario and Luigi visit Mamma and Papà at Metro Kingdom and have supper made by Luigi. One year, they invited Peach, Daisy and Rosalina to join them. Although it's usually a somber day for both Peach and Rosalina, they had a good time.

5) Wario visits his Bandit mom, Barbara. Waluigi comes along since Barbara's like, "Of course he can come, he's practically a second son to me! ...Would be nice if he actually, legally was through marriage or something like that, Wario."

6) Bowser buys Kamek some flowers he ropes some of his kids into helping him choose. Bowser tried one holiday to cook, but Kamek forbade him from ever doing that again once the fire was eventually put out.

7) Since Mona's parents are usually away because of their jobs and Ashley's parents aren't there for one reason or another, they spend the day together. Ashley won't admit it, but she finds it fun.

A black and white scan from a Mario Party 4 manga. Mario, Luigi and Toad are at the bottom of the image rightside up while Princesses Daisy and Peach are at the top of the image upside down. Daisy shouts in excitement as she raises her fist in the air while Peach looks toward the viewer with big eyes, her hand over her brooch. Mario has a confident smile on his face with one fist raised. Luigi winks at the viewer as he blows a kiss. Toad's mouth is wide open in awe and excitement. Japanese text is in the middle of the page, roughly translated with Google Translate as,

Okay but this is adorable? The MarioWiki only says it's a Mario Party 4 manga––doesn't give more deets than that. I tried translating the Japanese text using Google Translate, and what I got was "Overnight carnival! Tatsumi Shin." I assume Tatsumi Shin is the creator, perhaps?

Headcanon: Although Peach is partly Toad, she is predominantly human. As she grew up around Toads, she thought she would eventually get a cap, and was disappointed when Toadsworth explained that she was much too human to get one. He managed to turn her mood around by saying she'd eventually get a really pretty crown, though.

A few Super Mario headcanons

- Rosalina's first language was French, specifically an old version of French no one speaks anymore.

  • Wario isn't really into country music, but he asked Waluigi to make a mixtape he could exercise to once, and Waluigi for some reason thought country music would be good for that. Wario's too lazy to make a new one and doesn't want to buy one, so country music it is.
  • Even though smartphones are a thing, Mario still has a flip phone. He can call and text with it, and that's all he needs. He'd also be the kind of guy to still use/watch VHS tapes.
  • Bowser used to curse until he got kids, then he began to use PG versions of the words (e.g., crud, darn, fiddlesticks, etc.). It's become such a habit that he does it around anyone, not just kids. Now Bowser believes even when Junior becomes an adult, he won't be able to revert back.
  • Peach tried to give Mario a castle as a political move. Mario was seen as the protector of the Mushroom Kingdom, and yet he was just a plumber with a small house in the middle of nowhere. Mario gave it a shot for a little while, but after the events of Super Mario Land 1/2, he returned it to Peach. He prefers his simple abode with his brother.

Toadsworth headcanons, because he deserves it. (There's some angst here, oops.)

  • Toadsworth and Kamek have a begrudging respect for each other as they were both unexpectedly put in the position of raising a baby by themselves. They still don't really like each other, though, and they often bicker about whose kid is better.
  • Toadsworth has an anxiety disorder. He didn't use to, though; it developed while having to raise Peach and reign over the kingdom, as the kingdom had no other suitable person to look over it. The first hints of anxiety began appearing after the Shroob invasion, when he returned safely home and had time to process everything.
  • Peach is sometimes a bit insensitive to his anxiety, as it leads Toadsworth to be too controlling/strict at times. It's something they have to both be aware of and talk about at times.
  • He used to only refer to Peach as (the) Princess, until she was kidnapped by one of Kamek's Toadies. He was beyond relieved when a stork brought her back.
  • Toadsworth used to be the steward of King Toadstool before the king left the kingdom and his daughter, never to be seen again.
  • The Grandma we see in SMRPG is Toadsworth's mother. She helped Toadsworth with raising Peach.
  • Toadsworth may have gotten a bit misty-eyed when Peach first called him "Dad." (And when I say may, I mean he totally cried.)
  • Peach carried the title of Princess Toadstool for a while as a means of keeping a connection with her royal father. She eventually dropped it in favor of her own first name, however, after some reflection following SMRPG.

Smash-canons

(Drinking/alcohol mention in third bullet point)

  • Meta Knight is fluent in both what we'd call Spanish and English, with Spanish as his first language.
  • Luigi didn't really curse until he became friends with Solid Snake. Now Luigi will occasionally swear.
  • Peach and Isabelle sometimes have drinks together. Peach prefers champagne while Isabelle likes whiskey.
  • Meta Knight has a lot of Shy Guy fans. In fact, in the Mushroom/Mario 'verse, he has a dedicated fan club.
  • Mario was stuck in bed for a while due to his injuries from Ridley. Not because he was good about staying in one spot, but because everyone was very insistent he stay in bed.
  • Bowser: "Mario, don't make me punt you back into bed! Anyway, are you feeling better than you did yesterday?"
  • Luigi is the only Smasher who isn't from the Kirby 'verse who's seen Meta Knight without his mask. It was an accident.
  • Meta Knight maybe sorta kinda lowkey threatened Luigi afterwards to never tell a soul what his face looked like.

Some Smash-canons (with some sad-canons):

  • Master Hand (and to a lesser extent Crazy Hand) didn't take the Smashers too seriously/see them as equals until they saved Master Hand's life in Subspace Emissary. It wasn't only a wake-up call to have been bested by Tabuu, but to have been saved by these people who you originally only saw as entertainment.
  • Subspace Emissary in general really left an imprint on Master Hand. It made him a lot more humble and cautious.
  • Samus felt incredibly guilty after the events of the Ridley reveal trailer. She blamed herself for not paying closer attention. It took Mario and Mega Man a while to convince her it wasn't her fault.
  • The Legend of Zelda 'verse experiences time way more quickly compared to the other 'verses.
  • Whenever a different incarnation of Link, Princess Zelda or Ganondorf meets the other Smashers for the first time, they have a strange feeling, like they're rejoining with old friends.
  • When Rosalina saw the Star Rod used during a match for the first time, she mistook it for the actual Star Rod from her 'verse. She called off the fight and demanded to see Master Hand at once. The misunderstanding was resolved fairly quickly, but no one's ever really seen her angry before that moment, and they'd rather not see it again (especially Master Hand, who took the brunt of her glaring).
  • (Peach was incredibly tempted to tell Rosalina that Bowser stole the Star Rod once. She decided it would be better to save that info for later usage.)
  • Mario once ripped the door clean off of a cupboard at the Smash Mansion. It was too tall for him to reach, so instead of asking somebody for help, he jumped up and grabbed the handle, not considering that he was putting all his weight on it. Luigi won't let him live it down.
  • Wii Fit Trainer and Peach like to work out together sometimes.
  • The Hands wanted to add Gooigi in some fashion, but then E. Gadd started talking about needing royalties and they quickly decided against it.
  • If you stay around Pac-Man long enough, he will talk about his wife and kids and show you pictures of them.
  • Byleth is teaching Pit how to read, slowly but surely.
  • Crazy Hand is responsible for getting Sans and Cuphead to "join" Smash. While they were fine with their images being used for the brawl, they personally didn't want to join themselves for whatever reason.
  • In the case of Vault Boy, Crazy Hand entered the Fallout 'verse only to see how utterly dead everything was. He took the most common image he saw of a humanoid, gathered some information about the 'verse and left quickly.
  • On that note, although the Hands have many powers, time traveling isn't one of them. So the Hands can't do much to help the Fallout 'verse.

Despite Toadsworth having raised her and basically being her dad, I think it makes sense that Peach wouldn't have a British accent (or at least a strong one) since she grew up around many other people who don't share the same accent (maybe she had it younger but as she grew up she lost it). However, she most likely uses British spelling and slang words.
